Video: Sakurai doesn’t make Kirby games anymore, you know?

Here at Nintendo Life, we know our audience is a smart bunch of cookies, so we know you all have confidence that Masahiro Sakurai – most recently known for his work on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate – hasn’t worked on a Kirby game for quite some time. Neither does Nintendo itself!

That doesn’t mean, however, that people in the wider Internet circle don’t need a little history lesson from time to time; It seems some people have blamed both Sakurai and Nintendo for Kirby and the Forgotten Land. Well our extraordinary video Felix has put together a wonderful piece explaining the story behind Kirby, his creator Sakurai and the studio HAL Laboratory.
