Viewers of The Chase are convinced that the soap legend is a contestant on the ITV show

THE Chase fans believed soap legend Adam Woodyatt was a contestant on Thursday’s episode.
ITV presenter Bradley Walsh, 61, was joined by four other hopefuls including 56-year-old contestant Danny from Bournemouth.
The live music venue owner, 56, has doubled fans after spotting an uncanny resemblance to soap star Adam Woodyatt, who plays businessman Ian Beale in the TV series BBC One.
The contestant from South East London, told Bradley Walsh, 61, that he hopes to win some money to buy another banjo.
Danny impressed the presenter and teammates after he answered seven questions correctly – bringing him a total of £7,000 in the bodybuilder ring.
Despite being tempted to get a higher offer from Darragh ‘The Menace’ Ennis, he stuck with what he had earned in the first round and managed to get back into the final chase.
However, ITV viewers were surprised by the similarities between contestant Danny and EastEnders actor Adam – with some fans calling Danny his “doppelganger”.
One fan wrote: “#TheChase #IanBeale #AdamWoodyatt #doppleganger.”
Another posted: “Wow it’s Ian Beale on The Chase tonight. #TheChase.”
A third joked: #AdamWoodyatt worked hard on #TheChase. “
“The guy in seat 1 gives Ian Beale serious vibes,” another commented.
Another hilariously shared: “I swear this chapter could be Adam Woodyatt’s twins. #TheChase.”
“That person on #TheChase is not the one who rang Ian Beale from EastEnders,” another said.
Another added: “Ant and Dec pranked Bradley again… it’s obviously Adam Woodyatt or you spell his name. #TheChase
Unfortunately, the contest Zack, 34, a lawyer from Bradford was disqualified from the competition.
Danny joined Emily, 27, a manager from Newcastle, and Sandra, 74, a retired trainer from Lowestoft in the final chase with a total prize pool of £17,000.
With 17 spaces to block the players, Darragh has successfully completed his task.
Despite making their only pushback, the team was caught up by ‘The Menace’ with 27 seconds left.
The Chase airs weekdays on ITV at 5pm.
