Virginia’s lawyer hits back at Andrew’s ‘false memory’ defense saying ‘you don’t misremember sexual abuse by a prince’

VIRGINIA’s lawyer Roberts Giuffre denounced Prince Andrew’s “false memory” by saying “you don’t mistakenly remember a prince’s sexual abuse”.
In a civil lawsuit, Ms Giuffre claims she was forced to have sex with the Duke of York, 61, three times when she was 17.
But after a judge made Andrew’s bid to dismiss the case, his lawyers charged Ms Giuffre, now 38, recruiting girls for pedophile Jeffrey Epstein and “stricken by false memories” of her alleged encounters with the royal family.
They asked to speak to Dr Judith Lightfoot about Ms Giuffre’s claims to have suffered “severe mental distress and trauma” as a result of her alleged ordeal.
Andrew has always strongly denied any charges against him.
Court documents show his lawyers also wanted to examine Dr. Lightfoot’s medical notes from sessions with Ms Giuffre.
His legal team said that Andrew “considered that (Miss Giuffre) may have suffered from false memory, as evidenced by her statements about her time with Epstein and the circumstances under which (Andrew) the defendant The forced assault on her has continued to change over the years”.
But in an interrupting response to Andrew’s allegation of “false memory”, Ms Giuffre’s attorney David Boies told Letters: “People can get a lot of things wrong, but they don’t get it wrong about a British prince’s sexual abuse.

“This is exactly what Maxwell tried. It didn’t end well.”
During her sex-trafficking trial, Ghislaine Maxwell tried to use a so-called pseudo-memory expert to get her off the hook.

However, she was found guilty on five of six counts of recruiting young girls for Epstein’s vile pedophile organization.
Documents filed by Andrew’s attorney in a New York court also allege Ms Giuffre helped recruit underage girls for disgraced financier Epstein.
Andrew alleges Ms Giuffre’s statements were “an attempt to dissuade her from participating in Epstein’s sex trafficking scheme, including the recruitment of young women (including at least one 14-year-old girl) age) became a sexual partner for Epstein.
The duke – who has now lost his royal and military titles and is fighting a “private citizenship” lawsuit – is also said to be “tone deaf” because of his “false memory” strategy.
Brad Edwards, a Florida attorney representing many of Epstein’s victims, told the Sunday Times: “Taking another play out of the Epstein/Maxwell book and attacking Virginia was probably the only thing he could do. to look worse.
“I’d say his defense couldn’t be worse, but last time I thought he went on TV and gave the answer to the most embarrassingly stupid interview of all time.”
In a disastrous interview with Newsnight in 2019, Andrew insisted he had never met Ms Giuffre, suggesting that a photograph of the couple together from 2001 had been faked.
It comes after the Queen made the decision to strip Andrew of his HRH title on Wednesday after meeting with Charles and the Duke of Cambridge.

The decision on the bomb came after New York judge Lewis Kaplan ruled Andrew face a civil trial about his alleged sexual abuse of Ms Giuffre.

The Duke is seeking an out-of-court settlement for Miss Giuffre. It could be up to £10 million – the amount he will get from the sale of his house in Verbier, Switzerland.
Ms Giuffre claims she was seduced by the Duke of York’s close friend Maxwell and lured into paedo Epstein’s sick sex pyramid scheme.
She alleges she was forced to have sex with Andrew three times – in London, New York and on Epstein’s Little St James island.
According to one source, Miss Giuffre has vowed to “destroy him”. and leave him broken.
Meanwhile, a former royal police officer has revealed that he suspect that Andrew and Maxwell are lovers – because she comes and goes from Buckingham Palace “at will”.
Former bodyguard Paul Page claimed on an ITV show – Ghislaine, Prince Andrew and the Pedophile – that the former socialite had visited four times in one day.
