Putin ally Gurulyov says ‘first thing to be hit will be London’ in WW3
A close political ally of Vladimir Putin has called for London to be struck first in a third world war.
MP Andrey Gurulyov, 54, a member of the Russian Parliament’s Defense Committee, endorsed the Russian invasion of the Baltic NATO countries.
On state television Channel 1, he said there was no other way to prevent the West from blockading the Russian exclave of Kaliningrad.
Such a move would trigger NATO’s Fifth Clause and like World War III.
“We will destroy the entire group of enemy space satellites during the first air operation,” said Lieutenant General Gurulyov, a senior commander who now represents United Russia, the main political party supporting Vladimir Putin.

“No one will care if they are American or British, we would see them all as NATO.
“Second, we’re disarming the entire missile defense system, everywhere, 100 percent.
“Thirdly, we will certainly not start from Warsaw, Paris or Berlin.
“The first to be hit will be London.
“It is crystal clear that the threat to the world is the Anglo-Saxons.”

Like other Moscow hardliners, he believes that the West – particularly in continental Europe – has no sense of real war.
“As part of the operation to destroy critically important sites, western Europe will be cut off from electricity and immobilized,” he continued.
“All power supply sites will be destroyed.
“And in the third phase, I will see what the US will say to Western Europe about continuing their fight in the cold, without food and electricity.
“I wonder how they (the US) will manage to stay aside.
“That’s the rough plan, and I deliberately leave out certain moments because they’re not supposed to be discussed on TV.”

The general rejected plans by other Russian experts to grab a corridor through Lithuania to supply the Baltic Sea exclave of Kaliningrad, which is wedged between the NATO states of Poland and Lithuania.
The so-called “Suwalkovsky Corridor” runs from Belarus to Lithuania.
He sees such a strategy as a Western trap because Putin’s army would be flanked on two sides by NATO troops.
“It is the wish of our western partners that we clear the Suwalkovsky corridor [from Belarus through Lithuania to supply Kaliningrad],” he said.
“If you look at the map, it would be a huge mistake on our part to do the corridor only to end up with NATO troops left and right…
“And we need to drag Belarus into this too…
“Let’s look at the map…”

His strategy is to restore the Lithuanian capital to its former identity as Vilno and the Estonian capital Tallinn to its Tsarist identity as Reval.
“We calmly turn Vilnius back into Vilno, remember what Reval is [the tsarist name for Tallinn]and clear the right Baltic flank so we don’t worry about being hit from behind,” he told state television.
“From a military point of view it is impossible to get a free corridor [through Lithuania],” he said.
“But if the West decides to blockade the Kaliningrad region, a decision will be made to conduct a strategic operation to unblock it.
“But as a soldier, I clearly understand that no one will bother to just make a corridor.
“When we start working, we will work properly.
“Everything is cleared out, because why leave enemies behind?”

Gurulyov is a former deputy commander of Russia’s Southern Military District.
He served with Russian forces in Syria.
He was sanctioned by the US for his close ties to Putin.
In February he was allegedly overheard making a wiretapped call ordering subordinates to burn down the homes of Ukrainians after they had thrown families into the streets.
To do so would be a war crime.
