The woman believed to be Vladimir Putin’s secret lover is hiding out with their four young children in a private wooden house in Switzerland.
Olympic gold medalist gymnast, 38-year-old Alina Kabaeva, who was once called “Russia’s most resilient woman”, is said to have two sons and two daughters together. 7-year-old twins with 69-year-old Russian President.
With the war raging in Ukraine, the decorated gymnast is now staying in a “very private and very secure chalet somewhere in Switzerland,” a source said.
Putin has been in a romantic relationship with Kabaeva for more than a decade.
However, Kabaeva – dubbed “Russia’s first lover” – has denied that she is the partner of the Russian President.
This hasn’t stopped rumors that the couple are engaged, married and have a secret family together.
There have been many reports of her wearing a wedding ring, although there are no documents of a marriage.
However, many Russians see Kabaeva as the cause of Putin’s marriage to former first lady Lyudmila (62), the mother of his two eldest daughters.
The dictator of neighboring Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko hinted that Putin’s decision to divorce came because Kabaeva “put pressure on the president”.
In 2016, Kabaeva appeared in public with a ring on her ring finger, which she tried to hide from the camera.
She put the ring back on in a rare television interview where she was unable to shed any new light on her alleged ties to the Kremlin leader, who is not name mention.
In February 2017, Kabaeva made a public appearance showing off her wedding ring at a gymnastics tournament in Moscow.
Putin is famous for his private life, never discussing his life off stage and once declared: “I have a private life that I do not allow interference.
Earlier, Mr Putin said: “It must be respected”, while dismissing those “with a dead nose and erotic fantasies snooping on other people’s lives”.
Before she met Putin, Kabaeva was one of Russia’s most successful gymnasts, with two Olympic medals, 14 World Championships and 21 European Championships medals to her name.
After taking a break from gymnastics, Kabaeva began her political career and was a Member of the Russian Parliament from 2007 to 2014, representing the United Russia party.
During her time in parliament, she voted on a number of controversial laws, including Russia’s gay propaganda law that makes it possible to spread “propaganda about non-traditional sexual relationships” between minors. Juvenile is a punishable offense.
In September 2014, Kabaeva accepted the position of chairman of the State Media Corporation, Russia’s largest media group.
She is said to have a fleet of Maybach limousines at her disposal, and was surrounded by a team of machine gun guards while visiting a Moscow cafe.
The romantic relationship between the athlete and the Russian President was first rumored in 2008 and it is believed that she became pregnant by the ruler while attending a public event in 2015.
