According to reports, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy survived three assassination attempts in a week after plans were thwarted by double agents.
A group of 400 mercenaries from the Kremlin-backed Wagner Group and Chechen special forces were reportedly sent to Ukraine five weeks ago to “behead” the Ukrainian government.
In the last week alone there are said to have been three attempts to eliminate President Selenskyj.
Last week, the assassins reportedly waited for the green light from the Kremlin to take action against Mr Zelensky, but the plan was reportedly abandoned when they reached the upper echelons of Ukraine’s government.

The assassination attempts were reportedly foiled as double agents of the Russian Federal Security Service The times reported.
The underground assassin group is said to have infiltrated Ukraine with a 24-name “kill list” targeting the entire cabinet – including Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko and his brother Wladimir.
The group is widely believed to be available to Vladimir Putin, although the Kremlin has repeatedly denied this.
The force is said to be heavily involved in supplying weapons, experienced operational personnel and military training to pro-Russian militias in eastern Ukraine.
The group has previously been deployed by the Kremlin outside of Russia to conduct black ops operations that Putin wants without taking direct responsibility.

After Moscow invaded last week, Zelenskyy addressed the nation, claiming that Russian special forces were looking for him in the capital as “target #1.”
However, when offered a chance to escape by America, he said, “I need ammo, not a ride.”
Zelensky vowed to stay and fight for his country in the face of Russian aggression.
Yesterday, President Zelenskyy urged Putin to sit down and talk with him to end what has now been an eight-day invasion.
In a speech to the Russian head of state, Zelenskyy said: “Leave our country. Don’t want to go now? Then sit down with me at the negotiating table. I am available.
“Sit down. Just not 30 meters away like Macron or Scholz etc. I’m your neighbor. You don’t have to keep me 30 meters away.

“I do not bite. I’m a normal guy. Sit with me and talk. What are you afraid of? We don’t threaten anyone, we’re not terrorists, we don’t seize banks and we don’t seize foreign countries.”
It follows the Ukrainian president’s earlier comments in which he warned that Russia would “pay” for its invasion of the country.
He said: “We will restore every house, every street, every city and we say to Russia: Learn the word of reparations and levies.
“You will pay us back everything you have done against our state, against every Ukrainian, in full.”
