FUNDRAISERS will take part in a walk on the beach to raise money to improve care and research for people with motor neuron diseases.
Three Sussex branches of the Motor Neurone Disease Association have joined forces this weekend for the event, which will see people embark on a round trip from The Big Beach Cafe in Hove Lagoon along the coast to the i360 and back.
Participants were encouraged to wear something blue and orange, the charity’s colors, with some carrying collection buckets to collect money from passers-by along the way.
All funds raised will be split equally between the three branches of the county charity and will be used to benefit people with motor neuron disease in Sussex.
Hikers set off for the four-mile walk from 2 p.m. on Saturday.
