Walmart has confirmed that the latest PS5 stock drop will come on June 2 as part of its post Memorial Day and Walmart+ weekend sales. In case this is your first rodeo, only Walmart+ members get access to new PS5 stock this time.
If you don’t already have a Walmart+ account, it’s $98/year or there’s an alternative of $12.95/month. But it’s worth noting that you will not You can access the PS5 drop through a free trial membership. So you must have an active paid Walmart+ subscription to participate in the new PS5 drop.

How to buy a PS5 in 2022: tips and tricks
First, make sure you follow @IGNDeals on Twitter, and stick notifications for good measure. We’ll let you know immediately when PS5 stock goes live, so you can be there quickly. Keep in mind that Walmart likes to release inventory in short bursts, every 15 minutes on average.
If you can’t get a console on the first try, stay tuned, there will be more stock. Walmart drops can take anywhere from 1 to 3 hours, so it’s worth making multiple attempts once it goes live. Otherwise, here are a few more tips and tricks to help you successfully buy this PS5.
- Sign in to Walmart on multiple devices (laptop, tablet, phone, etc.).
- Have Walmart+ set up and active (login here)
- Have your credit card and shipping address set up before 12pm PT
- Add PS5 Digital and PS5 Disc to your Walmart shopping list
- If the purchase from the list fails, try your shopping list
