Warframe’s next major update, Angels of the Zariman, adds a social hub, player housing, new modes and more

Warframe’s The next big update is now a little less mysterious. Zariman’s Angel will take you into the Void of the Zariman in April. The expansion update will include several remakes and bring a new Warframe, a new Zariman social hub, customizable player houses, several new modes and more.

The expanded announcement comes with a first look video, teasing Zariman’s discovery of secrets, along with the discovery. There’s also a look at the new Warframe, named Gyre and intended to be graceful and energy-based, moving like a ballet dancer in a dark and mysterious world.

There was some other information released to the community by Digital Extremes between Devstream #160 and a follow-up post on the Warframe forums. More of what we can expect from Zariman’s Angel including plans to rework the Focus system along with the reworked Eximus.

The new social center is a change to Warframe, offers a community option that’s also designed to transition to the procedural gameplay you’ve come to expect. Also adding some community flavor is the introduction of customizable player housing, accessible via the social hub. There will be options to decorate your space.

There are several new modes coming soon. Void Flood involves closing Void rifts with energy dropped from enemies or you find. If you don’t act quickly, you could be at fault. And for every three cracks you can seal, a miniboss will take over. Void Cascade and Void Armageddon are the other two.

Weapons in development. Following on from the evolving cosmetic system introduced in The New War, there’s now a way to complete challenges and unlock evolutions for your weapons.
