Warning for 2 billion WhatsApp users – Brilliant “secret” photo change is so useful

A NEW WhatsApp update makes a really handy change to photo and video sharing.

It is also an important change as it will affect billions of people around the world.

The sleuths at WABetaInfo scoured the WhatsApp beta for secret new tweaks.

In WhatsApp’s beta app, parent company Meta is quietly testing new features.

And a big change is the ability to forward media with subtitles.

That means if you forward a WhatsApp photo that already has a caption, you don’t have to send it separately.

You can just forward everything together at once.

“As you can see in this screenshot, WhatsApp displays a warning the first time you try to forward an image, video, GIF or document with a caption,” explains WABetaInfo.

“Thanks to this warning, users finally know that it is possible to keep the caption when forwarding the media.

“In addition to being able to forward media with a caption, it’s also possible to remove the caption before forwarding the media if it’s not relevant to the person they’re sending the media to.”

Unfortunately, we’re not sure when this feature will be available to everyone.

How to get WhatsApp beta

To download WhatsApp Beta for your smartphone, you need to go to Google Play on your smartphone Android and search for whatsapp.

Scroll down the page until you see “Become a Beta Tester”.

Tap the “I’m in” button, then tap “Join” to confirm.

Now all you have to do is wait for the update to the beta version of the app.

Join the WhatsApp beta iOS is more difficult and has a limited capacity.
