Warning to all iPhone fans during Black Friday and Christmas shopping season

APPLE fans will have a hard time snagging two popular iPhone models this holiday season.

If you wanted one of Apple’s most powerful iPhone 14 Pro models, you might have to wait.

Shipping times haven’t skyrocketed on Apple’s website for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.

And mega retailer Amazon lists them as “temporarily out of stock”.

That means anyone hoping to snag a Black Friday deal, or snag one to put under the Christmas tree, might be out of luck.

It’s still possible to get the regular iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus.

But Apple doesn’t appear to be stocking the Pro models.

In the UK, Apple’s website’s earliest delivery date for an iPhone 14 Pro or Pro Max is January 3rd.

And in the US, the delivery time for both iPhone models is currently given as “five weeks”.

The delays affect all color and storage options for both the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max.

Amazon does not currently list a restock date for the models.

A note reads: “Temporarily sold out. We are working hard to get back in stock.

“Place your order and we’ll email you when we have an estimated delivery date.”

You might get lucky at other retailers, but it’s becoming increasingly unlikely that you’ll be able to snag a pre-Christmas device.

Of course, there are a few options if you’re dying to have a handset before Christmas.

The best thing to do is simply try to find a used or refurbished model.

Some people may have bought an iPhone 14 Pro and then regretted it – and now want to sell it online.

But be warned: you may end up paying a premium.

Sellers know the iPhone 14 Pro is in high demand, so it’s possible you’ll end up spending more money – even if the handset has already been used.

You can also choose to buy last year’s iPhone 13 Pro or iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Both models are still extremely good smartphones and are now slightly cheaper than their 2022 counterparts.
