Warning to all iPhone owners – the big change to AirDrop fixes one of the most shocking issues

APPLE is making a major change to how AirDrop works to weed out unsolicited stranger dick pics.
The feature allows nearby iPhones to send photos and videos over wireless connections instead of the Internet.
Recipients receive a preview and must first tap on “Accept”.
But dirty perverts have been abusing the tool for years to give cyberflash to unsuspecting women.
Apple’s latest improvement means those who have the Send Content feature enabled for everyone will only get a 10-minute window to do so.
After that, it will automatically change to Contacts only.

You can still disable AirDrop entirely, or always limit it to contacts only.
It will appear in the upcoming iOS 16.2 update.
AirDrop has become a key tool for Chinese protesters fed up with President Xi Jinping and strict Covid lockdowns.
The tweaked option was made available in China before anyone else last month, making it virtually impossible to get unexpected anti-government leaflets.
Corresponding EngadgetApple said at the time that it had no plans to make the changes exclusive to China and would roll them out everywhere else shortly thereafter.
Apple has recently made a number of major feature changes.

The tech giant has strengthened privacy and security with improved iMessage protections.
On the lighter side, iPhone maker Apple Music has also added a new Karaoke mode.
