A VIDEO of a crazed guest speeding through the doors of a hotel in an Audi has gone viral on social media.

Witnesses recorded the shocking moment and posted the video on Chinese social media site Weibo and then on YouTube.

Then he drove wildly through the lobby, leaving a trail of destruction in his wake.

Local police said the incident happened late in the morning on January 10 and the driver was a 28-year-old man named Chen.

After CNAthe driver rammed his car through the doors after arguing with staff about his missing laptop.

Fortunately nobody was hurt, the man was arrested.

Hotel staff claimed the laptop was stolen and found outside the hotel.

Bystanders and hotel employees shouted at the driver to get him out of the car, banged on it and tried to break a window to get the keys.

“Do you have any idea what you did? Are you crazy? shouted the spectators and the hotel staff.
