Watch long-haired Jurgen Klopp score sensational volley for Mainz as Liverpool boss’s 5 best goals revealed

JURGEN KLOPP is having a fantastic career in football management – and he’s not too bad as a player either.
The German player spent most of his career with Mainz 05, making 325 appearances and scoring a total of 56 goals.
Klopp starts at striker, but his 6ft 4in height has put his skills to the best use in defence.
Witnessing his soft blonde hair dash towards the ball from the puzzle pieces is all too common for fans.
The Bundesliga has ranked his top 5 goals in his career.
Two is a header with three a volley – and being in No1 is something very special.
Klopp was brought on as a substitute in the home game against Meppen in the 1997/98 season.
He opened the scoring in the 73rd minute with an absolute world.

The Stuttgart-born star received the ball from a tight angle in the box.
He was in control of the ball, seeing it bounce back to him before swooping 40 yards or more to put it behind the net.
That would put his team on the road to a 3-0 win.
Klopp retired from football in 2001, and was quickly appointed as the team’s new coach.
He guided young players to the Bundesliga for the first time in 2004.
The 54-year-old caused a stir when he took over from Borussia Dortmund in 2008.
He won the 2010/11 Bundesliga and successfully defended that title the following season.
And of course, he led Liverpool to their first Premier League title in 30 years in 2020.
