Watch the new Ferrari Purosangue accelerate to 250 km/h in less than 15 seconds – its V12 engine sounds fantastic

Most luxury and supercar makers have come to realize that in order to remain profitable, they need to have some sort of SUV in their lineup.
Names like Bentley and Rolls-Royce have the Bentayga and Cullinan to woo customers looking for a prestige SUV, while sportier brands Aston Martin, Lamborghini and Lotus have produced their respective takes with the DBX, Urus and Eletre models.
Ferrari has now joined the gang with a four-door, high-riding model called the Purosangue, or “pure breed”.
While the larger model offers more practicality, it remains a stunningly fast machine – and a YouTube video posted by Motorsport Magazine captured its stunning performance.
The video uploaded by Magazine Motorsport starts with a quick tour, but soon moves to the main event – with a clear view of the instrument panel.
The driver activates the launch control function and then shoots from a standing start.
0-62mph took 3.4 seconds, almost matching Ferrari’s claimed figure of 3.3 seconds.
The race to 155 mph was completed in less than 15 seconds – impressive stuff, although that still falls well short of the Purosangue’s 192 mph maximum.
The car has a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 that delivers 715 hp and 716 Nm of torque.
The Purosangue price starts at £313,120 in the UK, which places it above the base Rolls-Royce Cullinan and Lamborghini Urus.
