Waterford secured a place in the Munster final with a comfortable win over Limerick

Waterford booked their place in the Munster MHC semi-finals after a comfortable 2-12, 0-10 win over Limerick at Kilmallock.
Two goals late in the first half gave Waterford a 10-point half-time lead but they were dominant long before that.
Peter Cummins and Jack Twomey scored the goals to earn them a place in the last four against Tipperary next week.
Assisted by the breeze for the first half hour, Waterford landed on the floor with the first five points.
Billy O’Connell started with a great cut on the touchline, followed by three Twomey Frees and a Cummins score from the game.
Ciaran McMahon put Limerick on the board with a fine shot from the game, but that was quickly canceled out by another placed ball from Twomey.
Limerick responded through Darren Collopy and Bradley Moran, but Cummins and Twomey effectively ended the fight with goals just before the break.
Twomey then scored a second as he lunged at a loose ball that led them 2-8, 0-4 at halftime.
Limerick tried to get back into the game after the break but Waterford continued to be the better side, taking an eight-point lead.
