As an electrician, I make a decent amount of money but I am stressed about how to find the cash for a larger ring, as well as finance the wedding she is promoting.
I am 28 years old and she is 25 years old.
I started to worry that I wouldn’t be able to afford everything she asked for – 150 guests, front desk at a top hotel and designer clothes.
I don’t want to start my married life in heavy debt.

Sit with her and review your budget and work back from there. If she continues to pressure you in this way, explain how your relationship and mental health will be affected. Does she really want that?
