Footage shows the roof has collapsed completely, with soaking wet insulation hanging from the ceiling.

The kitchen floor is covered in water and debris and the boys use small basins to try and catch some water.

Reacting to the wet wreckage, one of the shocked lads said: “The whole roof is collapsing, literally collapsing.

“We have to get out of the house, it’s literally getting worse by the hour.”

In another video the trio posted, one of the guys pierced a huge bulge in the ceiling, now covered in dirt and mold.

Once cut, streams of water poured out from above.

Luckily, one of the guys held a pool below, which in just 10 seconds was filled with foul brown water.

The incredible clip has since gone viral, garnering over five million views.

Viewers flooded the comments, offering solutions to fix the slimy ceiling — some of which are hilarious.

One commenter advised, “Put it in rice.”

While another said: “Have you tried Flat 7up?”

A third added: “Try turning the roof off and on again.”

However, some fans actually had real advice for the three boys.

A wise viewer said: “Turn off the electricity, better turn it off completely at the fuse box, stay healthy.”

Speaking to the Irish Sun, Chris O’Dowd explained that the amazing leak was caused by heavy rain pouring into a hole in the ceiling.

He said: “The leak was caused by the amount of heavy rain we’ve had over those days.

VIRAL SENSATION

“A pool of water due to a hole in the roof caused our ceiling to balloon.

“So Toby got a knife and let the water out.”

Posting daily on TikTok for their band Static Vision, Cian, his brother Tom and his pal Toby didn’t expect the viral footage to receive so many hits.

He explained: “It has over 5.5 million views now, which is surreal.

“On TikTok you need 1,000 followers to go live, so my goal for 2023 was to get 1,000 followers so we can do live sessions as a band to try and get new audiences.

SILVER LINING

“Well because of the viral video this has been achieved! Which is great!

“Who would have thought that your kitchen ceiling collapse could have such a positive outcome?

“Luckily nobody got hurt, so you can only laugh. Our landlord also fixed it as soon as possible which is great.”

The three guys, who play a mixture of punk, alternative and indie music, give all musicians playing from home the strongest warning.

He said: “Our tip for everyone else would be to not play the drums in the room above your kitchen as it may have done more harm than good to cause the situation!”

Despite the setback, the band will continue to release music and are working on their debut album, Modern Times, this year.
