Grab your umbrella as today will be a mostly wet day across the country with possible flooding, Met Éireann has forecast.
The national forecaster said it will remain fairly choppy with rain or showers for most days this week, along with some sunny spells.
Today, during the day, heavy showers or longer rain showers will spread north to all areas, with isolated thunderstorms possible, especially in the south.
There will also be some bright or sunny intervals, the best of these in Ulster with highest temperatures between 16C and 20C with moderate to fresh south-east winds.
Tonight there will be more showers or longer rain showers, especially in the southern half of the country.
The lowest temperatures are between 12°C and 14°C with moderate to fresh southeast winds.
On Wednesday, showers or prolonged rain showers will spread to all areas, many heavy with isolated thunderstorms and scattered flooding, especially in the south.
The highest temperatures are between 16°C and 20°C with moderate southeast winds.
Munster, Leinster and East Ulster will see more showers or longer rain showers overnight.
Further west and north it will be mainly dry with low temperatures between 12°C or 13°C and light north breezes.
On Thursday there will be bright or sunny spells, showers first in eastern areas and then spreading to all areas, many of them heavy with the possibility of thunder.
The highest temperatures are between 17°C and 20°C with light to moderate north breezes.
Overnight it will be mostly dry with clear periods, but fog and mist will form when the wind blows lightly and the lowest temperatures are between 10°C and 13°C.
Friday will be a bright day with sunshine and some showers, but not as heavy or as frequent as the previous days.
The highest temperatures are between 18°C and 21°C with a light north-west breeze.
Saturday will be mainly dry with good periods of sunshine and maximum temperatures will range between 18ºC and 21ºC with light breezes.
