Brian Dowling and his partner Arthur Gourounlian have announced that they are expecting their first child.

Dancing with the Stars Richter revealed a few months ago that he and Big Brother The star husband wanted a baby but there have been “many setbacks”.

However, the couple shared on Instagram today that their surrogate is pregnant and posted a video of their ecstatic reactions when they found out.

The couple both shared the video on their grid and wrote: “It fills our hearts completely to announce to you later this year that we are pregnant and because of our beautiful bundle of joy.

“We actually never thought that this day would become a reality for us. We fully recognize and understand how fortunate and blessed we are that this is happening.

“For many of us out there, and especially people in our community, we need to fight harder and fight harder for what others think is something that can be easily achieved.
“Me and Arthur have been keeping the biggest secret over the past few months, but it has brought the biggest smiles to our hearts and faces.

“We can’t wait to meet you, hug you and love you for the rest of our lives, Baby Dowling Gourounlian is on the way guys.”
