Collin and Salim admitted it EW that those skin-tight gray suits weren’t fun to wear to work in production. In the series, Father and Mother almost constantly dress them and even provide their adopted children with identical clothes. Salim is not a fan of it, saying “It’s a lot, man… the clothes make you sweat a lot, so you feel like you’re constantly working out.” This happens regardless of whether the shooting day is hot or cold. He detailed:
“Honestly, it’s one of those clothes that when it’s cold, it can freeze. When it’s hot, you’re cooking. There is no proper temperature, except when you are indoors. I used to love my studio days. Those are the best.“
But perhaps worst of all, the leads of “Nurtured by Wolves” had trouble going to the bathroom in their uniforms, mainly because of the only zipper on their backs. them, according to Salim.
“One thing I don’t understand, and I will never understand, is why they don’t have a zip down there. Do you understand what I mean? It’s like, they have a zip in the back. Why don’t they have a zip in front?“
However, Collin realizes that Salim’s suggestion might not work: “Imagine how many people it would require to paint that zip going in a very uncomfortable area.” If that’s any consolation for the cast and crew, I think the simple design does wonders for bringing the characters into the world of chaos.
