Thousands of fans flocked to 3Arena last night as Westlife performed the first of their three Christmas concerts.
he, the adult Irish boy band will return to 3Arena tonight and tomorrow night in what they describe as an “intimate show”.
Following on from a tour of the Wild Dreams stadium in the UK and Ireland, the ‘Home for Christmas’ performance will be the first indoor performance in Dublin in 11 years.
This summer, Shane, Nicky, Mark and Kian, who have sold 55 million records, performed sold-out shows in the UK, Ireland and Europe, including Aviva Stadium, Wembley and Parc Ui Chaoimh.
The band also toured Asia, followed by several days of arena tours in the UK.
What time does the door open?
Doors open at 6 p.m. with Cork native Lyra taking the stage at 7:30 p.m., followed by the main act.
What is the set list?
Westlife will be performing some of their classics and some new music including Uptown Girl, When You’re Look Like That, If I Let You Go, What About Now, Starlight, Hello My Love and Flying Without Wings .
How to get to 3Arena?
3Arena is located at North Wall Quay in Dublin Docklands. The Luas Red Line will take you to the 3Arena, and fans can transfer from the downtown Blue Line if traveling from a different direction.
Additional trams are available on show nights to accommodate a large number of guests to and from 3Arena.
Dublin Bus Line 151 operates every 10 minutes during rush hour and will take you to Castleforbes Road, the closest stop to the site, just a two-minute walk away.
The last bus leaves Castleforbes Road at 23:15 pm.

Will there be food and drink?
Food and drinks are not allowed into the venue, even unopened bottles are not allowed.
There are various bars throughout the venue serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as a variety of sweets and snacks.
What more do I need to know?
3Arena operates cashless service at all bars and shops, so make sure to bring your debit card.
Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult when attending a performance. If you leave the venue during a performance, you will not be able to re-enter.
Professional cameras with interchangeable lenses, selfie sticks, Go-Pro, and video cameras are not allowed.
Other prohibited items include, but are not limited to: bottles, cans, umbrellas, iPads, tablets, laser pointers, large flags on poles, and recording devices.
