Wetherspoons in Brighton were evacuated when the fire engine called
A fire engine took part in an incident in which a downtown pub was evacuated.
In the incident, the Post and Telegraph on North Street, Brighton was evacuated as a fire crew was dealing with an incident in surrounding flats.
Customers were briefly asked to leave the building while the incident was being processed. The operation was quickly classified as a false alarm.
A spokeswoman for East Sussex Fire and Rescue said the incident happened at 5.27pm on Thursday 3 November. A fire crew was dispatched to the scene but was quickly dispatched.
