The bar chain said most establishments would close for the funeral service and would not open for the day until around 1pm after the funeral.
A spokesman for the company said: “Pub company Wetherspoon will open its central London pubs, train stations and airports and all its hotels (hotels are open to resident guests only) during normal trading hours from 8am to midnight on Monday 24th September 19th .
“Most of his pubs will open later than usual after the state funeral around 1pm and will remain open during normal trading hours thereafter.”

It comes as the vast majority of retailers have said they will close their doors during the day as a mark of respect for the Queen.
Downing Street has warned that it is up to individual companies how to deal with the bank holiday.
The Prime Minister’s official spokesman said the day of the funeral would function as a “normal bank holiday”.
