It doesn’t leave people any wiggle room to find a spot, meaning even after visiting for just a few minutes without parking, they’ll get stung.
And those hit with penalties have called the strict order “ridiculous” and “a fraud,” reports CornwallLive.
Vicks Campion, whose family regularly uses Sea View Car Park in New Polzeath, near Padstow, Cornwall, said: “My poor mum got a ticket while she was in the car while I was checking in a wetsuit.
“We were exactly four minutes and 20 seconds.”

“I lost an entire day’s wages to a 14-minute parking fine.”
And a third driver, Louise Wonnacott, who lives in the area, said there was a right-of-way via the parking lot to where she lives and she was caught four times simply driving through.
Adding to the confusion, local residents have complained that the signage at the car park, operated by Alliance Parking, is appalling.

A spokesman added: “We are aware of the minor typo on the signage and this was corrected early Saturday morning.
