What time does Dancing On Ice start?

Dancing On Ice 2022 made a much-anticipated return on Sunday, January 16, instead of its usual first week of January slot.

The series will then run for more than 10 weeks, with new episodes airing every Sunday on ITV.

Celebrities will put on their skates at 6:30 p.m. tonight for an ice battle before a pair faces host Ria Hebden in the first ice skating match of this year.

It looks like the 2022 finale will air in March – most likely on the 20th, but no official date has been confirmed by ITV yet.

The contest – organized by Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby – first aired in 2006, with Gaynor Faye of Coronation Street crowned as the first champion.

Who’s on the Dancing On Ice lineup?

A string of celebrities will perform each week with their professional partners in the hopes of reaching the finals and taking the top spot.

They will skate live to try to impress the judges and viewers at home with their practiced routines.

Who left Dancing on Ice 2022?

No one has hung up their skates yet in this year’s series, but the first qualifier will take place on January 23, 2022.

Six famous people joined the first show of the series, and the next episode will see the remaining six perform.

The couple that was at the bottom of the rankings from the first week then competed with a couple at the bottom of the chart for the second week.

After skating, the judges decide Which of the two contestants will be eliminated.

All the celebrities still entered the competition, however, some were forced to withdraw from the second episode.

Rachel Stevens dropped the show for a week after breaking her wrist when she fell on the ice during practice.

She will debut on Week 3 instead of Sunday, January 30, 2022.

Happy Monday star Bez also forced to miss the second episode too after testing positive for Covid.

He’s not ice skating participated in the first episode.

Who is the judge of Dancing On Ice?

Current judges Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean and Ashley Banjo will return as judges – however, Arlene Phillips is set to replace John Barrowman.

A TV insider said “The fact is Arlene is a mature woman with decades of experience in the world of dance seen as a huge asset to Dancing on Ice. “

The jury was shaken when it was revealed Barrowman was kicked out of the program.

ITV has been under pressure before the judge when allegations of sexual harassment surfaced from his time in the movie Doctor Who.

He later admitted to exposing himself several times on set, but denied any sexual intent, calling the act “tomfoolery”.

Who won Dancing On Ice 2021?

Radio player Sonny Jay Muharrem was crowned the show’s 13th winner as he came out on top in the 2021 series.

In the final, track and field athlete Colin Jackson was voted out in the first half, leaving Sonny Jay and actress Faye Brookes as the top two.

The two then continued to perform the iconic Bolero track before the phone lines closed, and Phil and Holly announced Sonny was crowned the winner.
