This is acc WABetaInfoa website that trawls through early “beta” versions of WhatsApp ahead of their general release.

The new functionality was revealed in the latest update for WhatsApp Beta for Android (version and will appear to see a voice note shared as a status update, dubbed “Voice Status”.

The new version features a new icon at the bottom of the app’s status tab that allows users to quickly send a voice note as a status update.

However, testers say the voice memo is only shared with the people you select in your Status privacy settings.

And the voice memo is end-to-end encrypted as other images and videos are shared with your status.

As the feature is still under development, it’s hard to say when it will be available to general users.

Also keep in mind that a feature appearing in beta doesn’t necessarily mean it will make it to general release.

However, early versions of the app are generally a good barometer of what users can expect to see on their Android-powered phones, tablets, and PCs in the near future.

The new voice status feature is the second WhatsApp voice memo feature to be rolled out to Android beta users in the last few months.

In March, it was announced that Whatsapp users can pause recordings mid-stream.

As expected, the feature is now live for most users.

And it means you can continue recording before you decide to send it to the recipient.

It’s proven to be a pretty handy tool to have on hand, especially when you lose your train of thought mid-flow and want to pause before continuing.
