WhatsApp has a great iPhone feature that Android owners don’t even know exists

WHATSAPP has a clever trick that only iPhone users can access – for now.
Proprietary “Blur Tool” is currently only available on iPhone.
It was around on Iphone for a while, but now finally expected to come Android soon too.
This feature allows you to blur parts of the image directly through the WhatsApp.
This is useful if you want to hide some sensitive information on a document or hide part of a picture.
Maybe you want to hide a gift in the background of your footage or your credit card information.
Whatever the case, iPhone owners can easily blur their pictures through WhatsApp.
Now the staff at WABetaInfo discovered evidence that the feature is also being developed for Android.
The blog regularly exploits WhatsApp’s beta, a test version of the app used to test out new features.
And now get a glimpse of this feature in the new WhatsApp beta 2.22.7.1.
Go to the end of this article to learn how to join the WhatsApp beta.
We also reveal how to use blur feature on iPhone.
How to blur images on WhatsApp for iPhone
First, go into a WhatsApp chat and add a photo – just like you normally would when sending a photo.
Then the photo editor will appear.
Now tap the pen icon in the top right corner and drag the slider down until you tap a mosaic pattern.
You did the right thing if a mosaic appeared around the pen in the upper right corner.
Now you can crop any part of the image you want by dragging your finger on it.
You can also slide further down that scale to access a black and white feature that completely removes color from areas of an image.
How to join WhatsApp beta
To download WhatsApp beta for your smartphone, you need to go to Google Play on your Android and search for WhatsApp.
Scroll down the page until you see “Become a Beta Tester”.
Click the “I Join” button and then click “Join” to confirm.
Now all you have to do is wait for the update to the beta version of the app.
Joining WhatsApp beta on iPhone is more difficult and storage is limited.
