WhatsApp “is changing on EVERY iPhone” in very bizarre ways

WHATSAPP may receive a design update for all newer iPhone models.
A trial version of the app was updated with a color change – but only eagle eyes would spot it.
Whatsapp Has has been supporting dark mode for a while.
This allows you to change the color palette to light shades on a dark background – making WhatsApp more visible in the morning or evening.
But a new WhatsApp update for the app’s beta “test” version appears to be making dark mode even darker.
It was discovered by the sniffer dogs WABetaInfowho regularly mine WhatsApp to uncover changes.

In the update, the toolbar at the bottom is completely dark.
This means that the overall look of WhatsApp is significantly darker.
It’s great news for anyone who loves dark mode – and how it helps you avoid being blinded by a bright screen when the lights are off.
Unfortunately, the first thing to note is that this is just a trial version of the app.
It’s entirely possible that WhatsApp will discard or tweak this change before it even makes it to the general release.
WhatsApp changes can sometimes be months or years in development before rolling out as well.
But keep an eye out for this small change in the coming months – it could sneak into a future update.
Importantly, this design change only appears to be valid for iPhones keeps running iOS 15.
It is possible that this will change before general release.
But iOS 15 supports phones going back to the iPhone 6S and iPhone SE (1st gen).
So, years-old iPhones could suddenly get this quirky WhatsApp tweak.
How to Enable WhatsApp Dark Mode on iPhone
Dark mode on WhatsApp borrows your iPhone’s system-wide settings.
First, go to Settings > General > Software Update to ensure you are using the latest version of iOS.
Then go to Settings > Display & brightness and select Dark mode under Appearance.
Now when you go to WhatsApp, the app will also appear with a dark mode theme.
How to join the WhatsApp beta
To download WhatsApp Beta for your smartphone, you need to go to Google Play on your Android and search for WhatsApp.
Scroll down the page until you see “Become a Beta Tester”.
Tap the “I’m in” button, then tap “Join” to confirm.
Now all you have to do is wait for the update to the beta version of the app.

Participating in the WhatsApp beta on iPhone is more difficult and has a limited capacity.
