We previously heard about this feature in leaks.

This means that beta users will soon be able to create polls.

And finally, the feature will be rolled out to the general public as well.

According to the latest leak Whatsapp Users can share polls with other members of a group.

And they can add up to 12 options to the poll.

However, it is possible that this cap will grow or shrink before the feature is finally released.

You can access the feature from the Chat Action page, where you can also send documents, locations, or contact profiles.

Although currently in development on Android, polls will likely work the same way on iOS and desktop as well.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to say exactly when the new function will be released.

While waiting for polls, you should enable an important feature.

You can actually set WhatsApp to have its own lock screen.

This means if you give someone your phone to use for a short time, they will not be able to access your WhatsApp.

To set this up you need to go to your WhatsApp settings.

Then click on “Account” and then on “Privacy”.

From here you can enable “Screen Lock” with Touch ID or Face ID enabled iPhone.

You can also select a duration when the ID will be required again.

Now when you open the app, you will be asked for your fingerprints or a picture of your face to verify that you are really reading your private chats.
