The CLUB are working hard to get the business done during the frantic January transfer window.
Thirty-one days of turnaround and deals can make or break a season – but more than likely leave potential transfers until the end of the month in search of the best price.
What is the transfer deadline?
So far, there is bound to be plenty of drama on the final day as clubs across Europe open their checkbooks.
This year, the transfer window will close for Premier League and EFL clubs on Monday, January 31.
After closing the window, only emergency and freelance loans can be signed.
What time does the window close?
YOU will be able to keep track of all transfers as they happen here on SunSport.
We’ll have reporters on our LIVE BLOG throughout the day, which will bring you new information on each transfer as it happens.
The window opens on January 1st and will close this year at 11 pm.
For transfers submitted between 9pm and the deadline, clubs will have to complete a contract to comply with FA regulations.
Meanwhile, an extra hour will be allotted until midnight to ‘complete the necessary information of the FIFA Transfer Matching System to apply for international clearance for new signings’.
Is it the same in Europe?
Clubs in France, Germany, Italy and Spain will also close on January 31.
The deadline for German clubs is a little earlier at 5pm, while it’s 7pm in Italy.
In Scotland, transactions can be made for another hour until midnight.
