BGT: Ant and Dec promoted the show’s comeback on Saturday, April 16

It’s been two years since it hit the screens, but Britain’s Got Talent is finally back – somewhat to the relief of devoted fans.

ITV bosses were forced to cancel the series last year because the Covid pandemic and multiple closures made auditions nearly impossible.

In 2020, the semi-finals and finals have been delayed until the fall and pre-recorded, with Simon Cowell being replaced by Ashley Banjo after the media mogul got into a bad accident in the US.

This year, Ant and Dec will return to the helm as they seek out brand new talent to bring some much needed smiles to the face of the country.

From golden buzzes and weird actions to tear-jerking moments, viewers can expect it all from season 15…

The Mirror revealed that Simon needed six hours of emergency surgery after breaking his back – in an accident in Malibu that could have left him paralyzed.

A close friend said that although his back was broken in many places and it was very serious, he nearly broke his spinal cord “one centimeter”, which would have left him unable to walk.

As a result, Simon was unable to fly from the US to the UK.
