When you change the Sky TV setting, your shows and movies start looking better right away

A SIMPLE Sky TV trick can make Tell You Watch look a whole lot better.
The change only takes a few seconds – and can make a big difference.
We’re talking about the download quality of your on-demand Sky content.
You can actually choose from three different quality settings.
These options include SD (standard definition), HD (high definition), and UHD (ultra high definition).
The latter is the best, roughly equivalent to 4K.
So go for that if you want the very best quality for your downloads.
To do this, press Home on your Sky Q remote.
Now go to Settings > Setup > Preferences.
Then select your quality under On Demand Default Download Format.
There are a few things to consider.
Firstly, downloading higher quality content means files get larger.
Downloading in UHD takes up much more storage space than HD and far more than SD.
So if you download a lot of content, you should be careful when choosing UHD.
However, it might trick you into deleting content that you no longer need.
You can also download individual shows in SD, HD or UHD if you prefer.
The second thing to keep in mind is that unless you have the right TV, these settings won’t make much of a difference.
Many modern televisions now support 4K Ultra HD – and even large devices can now be purchased quite cheaply.

However, it is possible that your TV only supports HD 720p or Full HD 1080p.
