Shameless won a huge following of devoted fans when it first debuted on Channel 4 in 2003 and the critically acclaimed show has become an icon of British comedy.

The show, which stars David Threlfall as Mancunian patriarch Frank Gallagher, ran for 11 seasons, before ending in 2013.

It launched the careers of A-list stars including James McAvoy, Anne-Marie Duff and Maxine Peake, and was loved by fans young and old after it became streamable on Netflix.

Off-screen, Anne-Marie began a romance with Shameless co-star James McAvoy, who played her love interest Steve on the show.

They married in 2006 and have a son, Brendan, but announced their shock split in 2016.

Adorable Lip is the second eldest in a dysfunctional family, and since leaving the show, he has gone on to take on roles in EastEnders, Holby City, Casualty, and Inspector George Gently.

However, he gave up acting to start his own beauty business, and is now the proud owner of a £18m cosmetics empire, after being inspired entered the industry when she received Botox from a Shameless supplement company.

The Liverpudlian actress joined the show in 2007 and has previously appeared on television shows such as Dinner Ladies and Brookside.

Since Shameless ended, Tina has gone on to star in the prison drama Clink, as well as starring on Celebrity Big Brother in 2009.

Tina made headlines when she got a reported £50,000 makeover, including a tummy tuck and orthopedics, after she lost 12 stone.

The star was given a stomach band and she went under the knife to perfect her whole body.

However, her career slipped when she was fired from the silent film Sleeping Beauty in December 2018, after admitting cocaine possession.

She then claimed she was set up.

And in March 2019, Tina was sentenced to eight months in prison – and fined £10,000 – for sharing a photo believed to be of Jon Venables, one of James Bulger’s killers, on social media.

Tearaway’s daughter Debbie is played by actress Rebecca, who has enjoyed a hugely successful television career since the show ended in 2013.

While Debbie ended up joining the army, Rebecca starred in Casualty, Doctors, DCI Banks and Monroe, before joining the BBC series Waterloo Road as Vicki MacDonald from 2009 to 2011.

The 38-year-old actress played the rebellious Karen Maguire in Shameless from 2004 to 2013, and her character shocked viewers by having an affair with Frank.

After the show ended, Rebecca joined the BBC Scotland soap opera River City, and has also appeared in Life on Mars, Holby City, Coronation Street and Doctors.

She is also married to one of Shameless’s co-stars – Ben Batt, who plays Joe Pritchard – and the couple has a son together.
