It’s that time of year again when Dancing On Ice returns to our screens.
Twelve famous contestants will go to the skating rink to win the first place in ITV’s hit TV show.
Who is in the Dancing On Ice 2022 lineup?
Back on ITV, twelve celebrities will be taking on the Dancing On Ice challenge.
Each week, they will skate live with their professional partners to impress both the panel and the viewers, who will ultimately decide who wins the show.

The star is following in the footsteps of her bandmate Melody Thornton, who joined the show’s 2019 series.
Kimberly immersed herself in the hot water after emerging that she had trained in speed skating After joining the reality show The Jump in 2014, Kimberly has participated and competed in various winter sports.
However, Kimberly insisted in an interview with Heart Radio that’s not the case, explaining that she doesn’t have “a lot of skating experience” and is “quite trashy”.
Connorl was revealed to be entering the dance competition in October 2021.
The 25-year-old is known as the bassist in pop band The Vamps and his impressive career has included two #1 albums and five top 10 singles.
Connor was teamed up with pro Alexandra Schauman, who praised the power of star on ice, say on social media: “He really blew me away on the ice.
“I like that he’s fearless and is always trying to try new things.”
TV star Ria, who is an entertainment editor on Lorraine, is starring in Dancing On Ice.
She told ITV: “It will be fun. This is one of ITV’s hottest shows so when they asked me, I absolutely loved it, we watched it at home. It would be great if you learned a new scary skill. ”
Ria added: “You have to say yes to the things that excite you, which is a bit scary because that’s where the growth happens – I hope so anyway!”
“I will continue this journey and hopefully inspire moms and dads and everyone else to make things better.”
Kye, Fresh from making history at Tokyo 2020 and winning the UK’s first BMX medal, is now getting ready to hit the ice.
The Silver Medal Winner Announces This on CBBC’s Newsround and said, “I feel good.”
When asked if he ever skated, Kye said: “I have [rollerskated] when I was younger, so we’ll see how it goes. “
When asked how long he kept it a secret, he said: “Only three or four weeks.
“I think I’m the last to be chosen. I’ve been told not to tell anyone and I’m waiting for the big reveal!
“My family knows. My dad and brother are rollerblading so I think they’re excited.”
Professional dancer and former professional player Brendan Cole is go ice.
Appearing on Loose Women, he said: “I’m so excited. It has been a while until now.
“I know I’m going to be on the show for quite a while and I want to start, I’m so excited to be on the show.”
Regarding his skating experience so far, he said: “I went once.
“I’m a pretty confident person and I like to think I’ll be good at what I put my hands or feet on!”
Former S Club Seven star Rachel is wearing skates and swapping places for the ice rink.
Speaking on This Morning, she said: “Now it really feels real, this is really happening. I’m very excited, obviously really worried. It’s one of those things, until you do that, you don’t know what’s going to happen.”
As to whether she’s skated before, Rachel “Only with Penguin with my kids you know every Christmas.
“I did it when I was 10 years old (age) and had a little bit of a hand in it and I really loved it but I was nervous.”
She just left the Love Island mansion, but new reality star Liberty already has was taken for DOI.
When exchanging the sun for ice, Liberty told ITV: “I grew up watching Dancing On Ice and my mom was actually a figure skater.
“Sometimes I skate as a hobby so I can go around the rink but I can’t do any tricks, no acrobatics or anything so I’m really looking forward to pushing myself and learn as much as possible.
“Not only skating, but actually jumping on the ice. Bring it on!”
Rugby player Ben Foden is no stranger to ITV talent shows, he has participated in X Factor Celebrity.
On ice, athletes Ben told ITV: “I skated a bit when I was a kid.
“I went to the ice disco when I was 15, 16 (years old) and you will always find these kids who can play pirouettes with the right dance background.
“I love the idea of learning a new sport and a new skill.”
“I’m also quite competitive so I like the challenge of competing with other people doing something I’m not necessarily good at!”
Singer and dancer Regan is a boy by football legend Paul Gascoigne.
Talk about joining DOI, he told ITV: “Obviously I dance and love to dance but that’s the skill of this thing.”
Regan added: “I’ve always wanted to do it. Always! Since I was a kid!”
Stef won a Paralympic medal is taking on her next challenge by joining Dancing On Ice.
She lost her right foot in a boating accident at the age of 16.
“I’m going to pick up a new sport this winter and it comes with a bit of showbiz.
“I’m going to be a contestant on Dancing On Ice and it’s a little scary but I can’t wait!”
Bez – whose real name is Mark Berry – rose to fame in the ’90s when he was on the show Happy Mondays, but since then he’s made a name for himself on reality television.
He won Celebrity Big Brother in 2005 but Bez is also known for Gogglebox Celebrity, and even joined Celebrity MasterChef.
Speaking on This Morning Bez said: “It’s more like Bambi on Ice now, not Dancing On Ice.
“How I was chosen, I don’t know because I was absolutely terrible in the audition but they definitely saw some potential in me!
“I’m looking forward to learning a new skill and I can’t wait for the Christmas rink again and I can go there and really show off.”
Coronation Street Star Sally Dynevor to be The first celebrity announced to participate in Dancing On Ice 2022.
Speaking to ITV’s Lorraine, the soap actress said: “Now that everyone knows I’m doing it, can’t I just back off?! And I’m so scared! ”
When asked if she had skated before, Sally – her daughter Phoebe Dynevor of Bridgeton – said: “Never! I went with Hattie [her daughter] When she was little and I raised a penguin and then thought it was too hard so I went for coffee! ”
Sally added: “This is a big challenge, Lorraine.
“Really. I’m not young anymore, I have to take every opportunity I get so that when I’m old I can say you know what? I tried.
When does Dancing On Ice start?
Dancing on Ice will begin on Sunday, January 16, 2022.
