Bruno Tonioli will not be returning to Serious with Dance this year after he confirmed his departure from the stage.
He has been a judge on BBC series for 18 years and has been a fan favorite throughout all of those years.
Bruno, 66, has been with the BBC show since its inception, albeit with only minor appearances over the past few years.
This was due to the coronavirus pandemic, which forced him to stay away from the show after he traveled to the United States.
On last year’s show, he was replaced by Anton du Beke, one of the series’ professional dancers, leading to him becoming the frontrunner to take on Bruno’s job full time.

It should come as no surprise that Anton is the frontrunner for a full-time position on the jury.
Fans have adored him for years, and he’s a welcome addition to the 2021 competition.
Based on the odds from the bookie Coral, he has 1-2 chances of becoming a permanent member of the team.
Right behind him is Cynthia Erivo at 3-1, who has also made a few appearances in the 2021 series.
Coral’s John Hill said: “Anton was comfortable on the jury last year, and he was well supported in our bet to replace Bruno Tonioli again in 2022.
“We don’t rule out the possibility that Anton will lift the Glitterball Trophy in the future, but for now, his future could be as a judge on the show.”
In an interview with Great British Life, Anton was asked if he would be left out of the jury on future series.
He replied, “The absolute truth is I don’t know. I haven’t been told. They haven’t actually talked to me about it. So whatever you’ve read, it’s just rumours.
“I’m hoping to get a call to say, ‘Look, you watch, come back to the review’, but we’ll see. I like to think I’ll be on the show this way or not. Different ways .
“I don’t want to think they’re going to get rid of me completely.”
Former judge Len Goodman and BGT judge Alesha Dixon are also in the rankings, with odds of 5-1 and 8-1 respectively.

Bruno has not made an official statement about leaving Strictly, although there is speculation that he is leaving to pursue another show.
He is also a judge on the US show Dancing With The Stars, and according to MailOnline, he wants to focus on that show in the future.
On May 17, he was nominated for a Critics’ Choice Reality TV Award for Dancing With The Stars.
He posted the news on his Instagram account, just writing: “Thanks.”
The show itself was also nominated for Best Series at the MTV Movie & TV Awards and Bruno wrote on Instagram: “WOW thanks, we’re so excited.”
