A former beauty pageant title winner, she was crowned Miss Universe Ireland in 2015 and represented Ireland in the Miss Universe pageant.
She started dating Murray in 2018 after meeting him during a night out in London, but they had to be in a long-distance relationship for a while. She was in the UK a lot for modeling jobs while he lived in Munster.
But lockdown convinced them to take the next step in their relationship and they moved in together at the onset of the pandemic in early 2020.
Like many couples who know things are getting serious, they took the plunge and brought a dog together, a Cockapoo named Kevin.
Murray previously said Independent.ie how his other half molested him relentlessly until he finally gave in and agreed to a puppy.
“He was brilliant, even if he just came out of the house and took him for a walk and got that bit of headroom it’s nice. He was a great addition to the place,” he said.
“He’s messing up the place a bit more than I’d like, but you have to give and take a bit. His name is Kevin, there’s no explanation for that; we just decided to use a human name.
“It’s kind of funny that people expect a kid to show up when you’re out yelling for them, but it’s a dog, so it’s a lot of fun.”
Cooper is a former journalism student at the University of Belfast and said she wasn’t confident about becoming Miss Universe Ireland due to her petite height of 5ft 5in.
“I didn’t know whether to go or not – I wasn’t sure about my size but Mum said ‘do it’ and made me try. The other contestants in Vegas all towered over me, but I didn’t let that intimidate me,” she said.
“I was the smallest, I always am, but I came back more confident. I’ve always been with these amazing, tall, glamorous girls, but I still felt like I belonged. I didn’t feel isolated, I felt like I belonged. The President assured us that we all deserved to be there.”
Murray hails from the town of Patrickswell in Co Limerick, where he grew up with parents Gerry and Barbara and sisters Aisling and Sarah.
The 6ft 1in former Lions captain credits his close-knit family with helping him keep his feet on the ground and not let the hype surrounding his international successes get to his head.
He honed his sporting skills at Limerick’s renowned Garryowen Rugby Club, the same venue as his grandfather Con Roche, a Munster legend. Murray attended St Munchin’s College and was part of the same Munster Schools rugby senior squad as Irish player Keith Earls.
