Nick Grimshaw hosts his last show on BBC Radio 1

Liv Grimshaw is now not only known for having a famous uncle – but also starring in the fan-favorite Channel 4 series Celebrity Gogglebox.

The granddaughter of former BBC Radio 1 presenter Nick Grimshaw has had a completely different career beyond her roles on the air.

The brunette joined Nick on the sofa to re-watch the week’s top TV moments, but away from the limelight, she’s had an interesting career.

According to reports, Liv is an assistant merchandiser for online fashion brand PrettyLittleThing, who has appointed Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague as Creative Director in 2021.

The TV star gives fans an insight into her sparkling life when depicted on the social networking app Instagram – where she has amassed more than 30,000 followers.

Liv tends to post cute side-by-side photos of her Famous Uncle – from Gogglebox appearances, family outings to even taking a break for a quick lunch.

The star recently shared a snap with Nick, where she captioned the post, “MY FRIENDS”.

The star pair return to television screens on Friday, June 10 as they sit on the sofa once again to rate Britain’s best television.

They join recognizable famous faces, including Denise Van Outen, Joanna Lumley and Rylan Clark.

On Friday, Nick, 37, shared a video to Instagram and wrote: “We’re BACK for deeper and more meaningful conversations like these.

“Gogglebox is back at 9pm tonight on @channel4” alongside a pink heart emoji.

The pair initially won the hearts of the nation with the show’s first season, and it can be said that fans were quick to anticipate their return.

When they returned in 2020, fans shared their excitement for the famous duo’s return to the screen.

One Twitter user wrote: “Nick and liv are remaking gogglebox. I can’t even explain how ready I am to be entertained.”

At the time, Nick shared a snap of his niece as he praised the return of Celebrity Gogglebox.

Nick sits aside after not seeing her for almost a year due to the Coronavirus pandemic and current pandemic restrictions.

He revealed his excitement at reuniting Liv aside in the new series.

At the time, Nick wrote: “Happy to say that @livjgrimshaw and I are back with another Gogglebox series!

“Having not seen or hugged Liv since last July, I can’t wait to spend the next 8 weeks talking absolutely on the phone.”

While Liv shared a sweet moment of the couple on either side of the room as they filmed the show while adhering to social distancing guidelines.

She wrote: “Had so much fun filming tonight’s episode of @c4gogglebox with @nicolasgrimshaw (from a safe distance).

“Thanks to all the crew for making the movie safe and following all the instructions so we can still watch loads of good TV shows and eat loads of delicious snacks.”
