Who is Simon Leviev’s bodyguard Peter?

The man will pose as the son of Israeli diamond magnate Lev Leviev with women he meets on Tinder.

Immediately after the start of the relationship, he will splurge on thousands of romantic gestures, luxury trips and expensive hotels, obtained from his previous victim.

Leviev promised to pay them back, but it was always fake watches, fraudulent checks and incomplete bank transfers.

After a few months, he announced that he was in trouble due to the enemies he had made in the business.

He would send footage of his security guard, Peter, being beaten up in the back of an ambulance, claiming there had been an assassination attempt.

The women would then agree to let him temporarily use their credit cards, convinced by promises that he would pay them back.

Sometimes he even returns some money as a sign of good faith.

However, in most cases, he sent them fake bank transfer receipts and blamed the bank for not completing the transaction.

What did Simon Leviev do?

Leviev cheated on a number of women all over Europe.

The 31-year-old will meet them through a dating app, where he will play a billionaire in the diamond business.

He then defrauded them of thousands of pounds – an estimated £7.4 million in total.

He will tell them that his enemies have frozen his bank account and ask them to send him their savings or withdraw credit cards and loans.

New Netflix documentary tells the story of his three victims – Cecilie Fjellhoy, Pernilla Sjoholm and Ayleen Charlotte.

Was Simon Leviev arrested?

Leviev was eventually arrested, albeit on unrelated charges, and became wanted in Israel, Sweden, Great Britain, Germany, Denmark, and Norway.

The use of a fake passport in July 2019 led to his extradition to Israel, and in December of that year, he was found guilty of theft, fraud and forgery.

He was sentenced to 15 months in prison but was released after only 5 months due to good behavior.

He has not been charged with any criminal charges outside of his home country, including his Tinder scheme.

The 31-year-old man lived in Israel after his release.

He regularly shares snaps of his lavish lifestyle with his 124,000 followers on Instagram.

His account is filled with selfies alongside flashy cars, helicopters and private jets, as well as cigars, expensive dinners and designer gowns.

It is believed that he is currently dating an Israeli model.
