When asked if he had been unfaithful during his 27-year marriage to Melinda, Bill said: “I definitely made a mistake and I take responsibility.”

He added: “I have to take responsibility for causing so much pain to my family. It was a difficult year. I feel very happy that we are all moving forward. ”

But when asked to dig deeper into the infidelity rumors, he declined, saying: “I don’t think it’s constructive to go into details at this point, but yes, I did. out of pain and I feel terrible about it.”

Speaking of the affair rumors with CBS after their divorce, Melinda said: “It wasn’t a single moment or a specific thing that happened.

“There came a point where there were enough places where I realized it wasn’t healthy and I couldn’t trust what we had.”

But it wasn’t just rumors of infidelity that led to the breakup of their relationship.
