Ant & Dec’s popular ITV show Saturday Night Takeaway will not air this weekend in a major schedule disturbance, causing the show to be postponed for a week to make room for rugby.
Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway was canceled this weekend on a schedule change.
The popular ITV show hosted by Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly went wrong this weekend, as the channel aired a live rugby match as England played France in the Six Nations.
Fans look forward to seeing their favorite segments, including End of the Show Celebrity Show, Happiest Minute of the Week – where everyone can win an outing, and I’m the One. popular … Get Out Of My Ear, it will be very disappointing that the show has been shelved this week just to make room for the sporting event.
Instead of airing Cloud Bridge on Saturday night, ITV will broadcast the rugby match, which begins at 8pm. Coverage begins on ITV at 7:15 p.m., as the two nations go head-to-head in the final week of Six Nations.
The pair explained that the show won’t be shown next week on last week’s show, and fans have been very disappointed by the news. Ant told the studio audience: “You may have heard some of you won’t have a show next week because of rugby.”
“No Takeaway Saturday night next week due to rugby! Waaaaaahhh,” one fan wrote with a crying emoji, as another wrote online: “No Ants and Saturday Night Slides of rugby – would rather my Saturday Night Takeaway.”
In the first episode earlier this year, Ant and Dec transformed into drag queens, Lady Antoinette and Miss Donna Lee, for a very special End of the Show featuring the Drag Race Kingdom champions England – The Vivienne, Lawrence Chaney and Krystal Versace.
Fans loved the routine, where the pair dressed up as ‘angels of the North’ for a very special routine where they sang lyrics including “don’t be bitter just better” and “all everyone with their own story, we stand together, we work together.”
During last week’s episode, there was a bit of controversy when some fans were certain that Sam Fender had misread the numbers in a special prize-winning contest called Chase The Rainbow, organized by X Factor’s Fleur East.
Some fans believe it’s number 1 and not number 7.
“Is that the number 1 not the number 7?? very similar!!” one person wrote, as a second added: “Think it’s 1 not 7.” A third person wrote on social media: “I think people are being silly, it’s a 7 … but turning it around a bit, it’s obviously a number 1 because the top is too short. Soz.”
