The FA Cup third round has finally arrived, months after last season’s final, where Leicester beat Chelsea 1-0.

The FA Cup replay rules have changed a lot in recent years and 2021-22 is no different, especially due to the Coronavirus pandemic, which started with third round furniture.
Will FA Cup matches go to replay or extra time and penalties?
The FA Cup will not be replayed this season to help overcome congestion caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
Replays were dropped from the quarterfinals onward for the first time in 2016.
And then last season, they were completely phased out due to Covid-19.
Due to the fixed accumulation caused by the pandemic during this period, replays from the third round onwards were omitted again.
Matches ending in a draw will now be settled with 30 minutes of extra time and penalty kicks if necessary.
