You may remember the hit season 5 episode “Rickdependence Spray”, which started with Morty discovering mounts at the horse hospital where his mother worked and he quickly realized that the machine wasn’t just good for horses. Later, when Rick decides to use the hospital’s horse semen for some kind of experiment, Morty… Involvement with material that inadvertently leads to the approaching apocalypse. The rest of the episode is an absurdly fast-paced, chaotic story where humanity must work together to combat the millions of giant mutant sperm that roam the Earth.

Working with the President, Summer had the idea to split and enlarge one of her eggs in order to attract all the sperm to the same spot. However, Morty later confesses to his part in the disaster, and the final act revolves around everyone’s attempts to prevent the sperm from reaching the egg. They almost succeeded, but a crumbling sperm cell slipped through and a giant incestuous baby was conceived. The President decided to launch it into space, where it quickly grew into a giant baby. (Oh, and babies can breathe in space this way. No need to worry about how or why.)

The episode is Not is accepted. Zack Handlen of AV Club called it, “the dumbest episode of ‘Rick and Morty’ I’ve ever seen.” At the show’s subreddit, The most upvoted comment on the episode’s discussion thread was: “Morty and Summer normally having a baby is just a weird and slightly gross, not funny thing.” Another top comment say nothing: “I even loved the episode about the dragon slut, but this is so obnoxious. It’s not completely worthless (I still find it funny because it’s totally weird), but it feels like an incident. crude, faded imitation of ‘Rick and Morty.'”
