The actor’s infamous slap in the face has earned him a warning from Rose Rock, who doesn’t accept his apology, saying: “If you hurt my child, you hurt me.”

Forget Oscar academy, now Will Smith really is in trouble… with Chris Rock’s mom.

The actor’s infamous slap has earned him a warning from Rose Rock, who does not accept his apology.

“When Will hit Chris, he hit us all, but he really hit me,” she says. “If you hurt my child, you hurt me.”

Will punch Chris in the face during the Oscars after the comic joked about the hair of the Men in Black star Jada Pinkett Smith, who suffers from alopecia.

Rose says she’d like to ask Will, “What on earth were you thinking?” Chris could have stepped back and fallen. You really could have been taken out in handcuffs.

“You haven’t thought. You reacted to your wife giving you a sideways look and she laughed with laughter when it happened.”

Chris has yet to speak out, saying he’s still “processing” what happened. Will issued a statement the next day that included an apology to Chris – but Rose says he did not contact her son directly.

She told US television network WIS: “I feel really bad that he never apologized. His people wrote an article and said, “I apologize to Chris Rock,” but that’s personal. You are reaching out.”

Will, who was banned from the Oscars for 10 years, is now spending time in Mumbai, India, where it has been suggested he sees a spiritual guru to discuss his anger issues.

Lizzo tickled pink

The 1D star, who must have been cooking in the California desert in this fluffy Gucci coat, invited the singer to perform his band’s hit What Makes You Beautiful. She praised him as “a treasure” and “God’s gift to rock ‘n’ roll”.
