Will the original ending of Don’t Worry Darling improve the film?

Finally, it will be revealed what’s happening in “Don’t Worry Darling.”

When Alice witnesses a plane crash on a hill outside of town, lead her on a walk into the desert to investigate. She finds not a single crash, but the strange, mirrored building where her husband ostensibly works. When she puts her hand on it, her mind is wiped clean and she is mysteriously sent home. This building, it will be revealed, is actually an “exit” from a giant man-made reality that Alice has been forced into. In fact, Alice and Jack are living in the present day, and Victory is a simulation that is streamed directly into their eyeballs as they lie on a bed in a cramped apartment. Jack robbed Alice and forced her into the fake world, because he was not satisfied with Alice having to work a lot and they have little time to spend together.

The Victory Project, then, was not a test community, but an exclusive pilot program that Jack was allowed to participate in. Finally, inside the simulation, Alice catches the wise. She smashes a glass into Jack’s head, killing him. Her neighbor Bunny (Wilde) explains that if someone dies in the simulation, they will die in real life. Bunny knows that Victory is a simulation and is willing to live in it, as her children are dead in the real world, and seemingly alive on the inside. The film ends with Alice fleeing back to the “exit” building and leaving the simulation, presumably to close it.

In another curious situation, Frank is murdered by his wife Shelley (Gemma Chan) while she announces she will take over. Shelley’s ambitions have never been discussed before.
