Winds of Winter release date ‘confirmed’ by math genius using clever Game of Thrones equation
A math genius thinks he’s figured out when the next Game of Thrones books will finally be out.
Fans have been desperately waiting for the next installment in the A Song of Ice and Fire series.

The last book, A Dance With Dragons, was published over ten years ago.
But Reddit user and math genius Zupadan thinks they may have figured it out.
And if they’re right, the next book, Winds of Winter, could be out very soon.
According to a special prediction model using polynomials, the next part is scheduled to be released next year, 2023.

But before you celebrate, the prediction puts 7th in the series, A Dream of Spring, much further out.
They calculate that it could be as late as 2065.
However, that would make the author George RR Martin 117 years old.
“We hope he’s the oldest living human,” Zupadan said.
“It’s not as old as I thought it was when I saw the answer was 2065.”
Of course, the Reddit user is aware that it is just a mathematical prediction.
“You can’t really find out when the books with math come out,” he told a Reddit user.
So we’re hoping that his prediction for book six is correct, while the predicted date for book seven may be in error.
