Winnie the Pooh slasher ‘one of the most anticipated movies of 2023’
The Sussex-produced slasher film Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood And Honey is one of the most anticipated films of the year according to IMDb.
Filmed over ten days in Ashdown Forest, the film sees the popular child character grow wild and bloodthirsty, terrorizing an adult Christopher Robin and a group of women in a secluded house in the woods.
According to the online database, the film’s announcement “had the world flocking to IMDb for more.”
The horror film was more anticipated by movie fans than the live-action remakes of The Little Mermaid, The Super Mario Bros. Movie starring Chris Pratt, and Indiana Jones and the Wheel of Fortune.
However, the most anticipated movie of 2023 among movie fanatics is Barbie starring Margot Robbie in the title role and starring Ryan Gosling as Ken. The romantic comedy, the first live-action Barbie film, is out this summer.
Announced last year, Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood And Honey drew widespread attention for its use of the beloved childhood character after AA Milne’s original book entered the public domain.
The film hits theaters on February 15th and will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on April 24th.
