Witcher 3 Netflix armor: How to unlock Henry Cavill’s armor in The Witcher 3 next-gen update

THE Witcher 3 Next Gen Update is now available for free on all platforms if you own the original game.

Aside from all the graphical updates, what fans are most looking forward to is an additional quest that gives you Henry Cavill’s armor from the Netflix show.

The search is quite long and it can be difficult to figure out everything you need to do.

How to get the Netflix armor in The Witcher 3 next-gen update.

Next-gen update for The Witcher 3: Starting in the Shadow of Eternal Fire

You begin the quest in the Devil’s Pit, a large mine whose surface you can explore.

It is east of the Hanged Man’s Tree in Velen. Follow the path to the entrance and there is a Priest of Eternal Fire outside.

The priest will give you the quest and it’s time to explore the pit yourself.

Go to the lower floor and you will find some double doors on the back wall.

Here you can find several Greater Glyphs of Yrden that you may need for the upcoming battle. You will also need celandine before you begin.

You will hear a spooky voice asking for help. Use your witcher senses to identify markers and find the right direction.

At the bottom of a broken staircase, the voice tells you to turn right, but you should go straight instead.

Blow up the walls with the Aard and interact with the plague victim ahead.

Next Gen Update for The Witcher 3: Making Reinald’s Potion

After defeating some plague victims, use the broken wagon at the back of the room as a platform to jump over the wall.

In here is a note from Reinald that teaches you how to make a special potion. You should do that now.

Continue through the caves and eventually you’ll come across a set of double doors with a note attached. This is the last area.

Next Gen Update for The Witcher 3: How to free Reinald

Reinald is in the back of this room, stuck in a series of stalagmites. You can free him by using the Aard Sign on him.

He will then ask about the potion you made. However, this is a trap. Instead, drink the potion and prepare for battle.

The Witcher 3 Next Gen Update: How to Beat Reinald and the Red Miasmark

This is a two-phase boss fight against another witcher, so you’ll likely need to dodge after landing each attack.

Set up a shield with Quen and dodge as many times as possible. If he spawns a red shield, don’t attack or you’ll be countered.

Hit Reinald with two quick hits after dodging one of his attacks. Then use Igni on him and follow that up with two more quick attacks.

Once he’s down to a third of his health, combine Yrden with Aard to force the Red Miasmark out of his body.

This will quickly dissipate in the arena and summon more plague victims. It also has a large health bar.

While it telegraphs its attacks, it makes them easier to dodge. Yrden also increases the power of your attacks.

Keep the pressure up and you’ll be able to take them both down.

Next-gen update for The Witcher 3: In The Eternal Fire’s Shadow Epilogue

After the fight, talk to Reinald and he will tell you about his armor. You can then get the priest who gave you the quest and you have to mediate the conversation.

Once done, you will receive a new gear quest that will allow you to craft the Netflix armor.
