Hitting the red hang up button would just be rude.
In an ideal world, if you simply say enough is enough, the other person is only reasonable and will understand.
But the truth is, some people might find that inherently rude — or they might just be too imposing to even dream of suggesting such a thing.
So you just sit there, hum around and wait for them to finish.
One TikToker has revealed a rather sneaky way of ending such calls without giving away the game.
If you just tap the red button, the other person will simply see “Call ended” and may be suspicious.
As ambre_skye shows that there is another way.
If you turn on Airplane mode, the call will drop and you’ll see a different message instead, she claims.
“Call failed” is displayed instead of “Call ended”.

This is the type of message that appears due to a network disruption, e.g. B. when you go through a tunnel and lose the signal.
“It’s the best way to end an unwanted call,” she said.
Some users welcomed the idea, saying, “I have a few people I’d like to do this to from time to time.”
But not everyone thinks this is a good plan.
“Easier but ‘Sorry I have to go,'” replied another commenter.
