phasmophobia got an update that lets players go on a little Easter egg hunt while searching for ghosts.
On Friday (15.04.) Kinetic Games posted the patch notes for the latest Phasmophobia update. According to the notes, each location in the game now has “multiple Easter Eggs to hunt and find!” Players can keep track of how many eggs they have left to find under the map image in the truck, and if you manage to find them all, each team member’s sanity will be restored to 100%. But if you’re desperate for the oval treats, you’ll need to play soon as the event only runs until April 19th.
The patch also added some fixes and changes to the game, as well as a small new feature. There is now a visual indicator on both PC (bottom left) and VR (belt) when the toggle voice is used. Regarding changes, the brightness of CCTV night vision in the prison has been increased. And the VR hold positions for all devices have been refined to match the hand model with the players’ controllers.
The patch also included a number of general fixes. These included things like a bug where the CCTV camera number in the truck wasn’t updating, a bug where Willow’s hideouts were still covering the level, and a bug where the ghost couldn’t interact with one of the paintings.
Most recently, Phasmophobia received a massive VR overhaul. The overhaul now means that all popular VR headsets are supported, different options for grabbing items have been implemented and there is also a VR sitting mode. With this recent update to VR and the Easter Egg Hunt patch, players can combine two of the best holidays in what may be the most unexpected crossover of the year.
